Neel Kashkari Is Something Special

I’ve told you that before, of course, but it is worth telling you again, seeing as how Kashkari trounced Jerry Brown in a debate last week. How do we know that Kashkari won? Well, because of this:

When asked after the debate if he will agree to participate in another exchange of issues and ideas with his challenger before election day, Brown said, “I think we’ve exposed the differences.”

That’s Jerry Brownese for “I know I lost this debate, and I really don’t want to have to repeat the experience, lest my campaign be thrown into utter chaos.”

Brown is still the favorite to win, but Kashkari exposed him as old and out of touch. Californians should take heed, and if there is any justice in the world, an upset should be in the offing.

  1. Brown is the favorite to win because California’s Democrat voters (who are in the majority and who run the state) wold vote for a Democrat even if he campaigned wearing an SS uniform. Boxer and Feinstein have a combined 42 years in office (21 years each). During the last election she was in, Feinstein gave an interview. The interviewer asked her if she would debate an opponent.

She laughed and walked off the set.
