The Republican Party Decides to Weed Out the Crazy

And I am fine with the plan. Controlling primary and caucus schedules and bringing down the number of debates–most of which are mind-numbing and utterly unedifying in nature–certainly sounds like a good idea to me, as does letting a future nominee have more time, energy and resources to make a case against any future Democratic nominee. It is nice to see that some adults have finally decided to take charge at the Republican National Committee, and about the only criticism I have to offer regarding this change in procedure is that it was too long in coming.
